So often we hear this expression, but why is proper planning so important? Our experience with our clients is that it is not the final document you may produce that is important but the process of planning itself that is so powerful.

If you plan properly you will learn more about your business, your industry, your competitors, your clients and your motivations. The power of proper planning therefore is that it teaches.

Without a proper planning process we find that businesses simply react to the current situation, resulting in short term plans, the business owner or management team feeling as if they have no control over events.
